Another Greatful Handyman Project case study – this time a weatherproofing project at a house house in Gauteng.
A customer recently called me to weather proof their flat rood at their home in Gauteng province.
Upon inspection, the roof was quite worn with cracks and in need of being reinforced with proofing and sealing.
Having agreed to deliver the project, I got measuring up and then ordered my supplies.
I opted for Copernit bitumen polymer weather proofing membrane (4mm) thickness.
Also, I purchased heat reflecting paint with thermal insulating properties. This gives my customer the best of both worlds – heat reflection for cooling during extreme heat and insulation for heat efficiency during cold weather.
This in the long run would add good investment value onto the property and preserve the fabric of the building from accelerated wear and tear.
The project took place on a residential property in Gauteng.
The budget was: R.xxxxx, and I delivered under budget.
My team completed all works within x days.
The result (and the customer’s reaction), speaks for itself:
